Any mother who has held her daughter close on her lap and painted her nails can relate to this painting. Jenna would breathe slowly as she held so still. She no longer fits in my arms on my lap this way, but I treasure those kinds of moments. I wish I had more time to paint scenes like this.
I do all my own framing and with the variety of subjects I paint, framing options are endless. Paper prints are framed and protected with acid free matting and glass. Canvas prints are either gallery wrapped or mounted to a panel board. All canvas prints are protected with a liquid laminate UV protective coating.
