Marne Creek runs through Yankton S.D. While on the Auld-Brokaw trail I ventured off the path just east of Pine Street where I was intrigued by the old concrete bridge. I learned that the rocks in the foreground were placed there years ago, to dam the creek for ice skating in the winter. While painting this scene I heard over the radio a mountain lion was spotted in town along Marne Creek. If you look closely, you will find it hiding.
I do all my own framing and with the variety of subjects I paint, framing options are endless. Paper prints are framed and protected with acid free matting and glass. Canvas prints are either gallery wrapped or mounted to a panel board. All canvas prints are protected with a liquid laminate UV protective coating. I am happy to provide photos and visit about all framing options if you contact me.
