St. Helena, NE is a beautiful, historic place in Northeast Nebraska, just a 20 minute drive away. One would be surprised that I would paint such a scene but I felt a special quietness when I visited. Some of the earliest settlers that came up the Missouri River are buried in this secluded place. At one time the river came so close that it took part of the cemetery away down the river. Civil War veterans are buried here. I appreciate the history of this peaceful spot and honor those buried here as one does anytime they visit a cemetery.
I do all my own framing and with the variety of subjects I paint, framing options are endless. Paper prints are framed and protected with acid free matting and glass. Canvas prints are either gallery wrapped or mounted to a panel board. All canvas prints are protected with a liquid laminate UV protective coating. I am happy to provide photos and visit about all framing options if you contact me.
